Neighborhood Centers Inc.

Neighborhood Centers Inc. (NCI) is a social service agency located in Houston, whose mission is to “build vibrant communities to keep Houston a place of opportunity for all who are working for a better life”. Kerry Goelzer has worked with NCI for over twenty years on projects both large and very small, ranging from space planning, project management, predesign services, to design through construction projects.

Space Planning / Feasibility Studies
Services provided: analysis of space planning needs for multiple departments at NCI’s main office and several Work Force Solutions locations; preparation of feasibility studies and diagrams for potential new building types and sites.

Baker Ripley Neighborhood Center
Kerry Goelzer provided project management services during the development of the Baker Ripley Neighborhood Center in southwest Houston. The 65,000 sf building, designed by Concordia Architects, opened in fall, 2010. Kerry Goelzer continues to work with NCI to reassess needs and prepare modifications to the campus.
