This 1926 residence is located in the Museum District.  It is one of three known residences designed by the architect, Carlos B. Schoeppl.  He lived in Houston briefly in his twenties before moving to Florida where he had a long career.  The gardens were designed by the landscape architect, C.C. Pat Fleming, complementing the original house design.  The recent renovation work included replacing the original knob and tube wiring throughout, providing views from the small breakfast room to the Fleming designed garden and adding a powder room, all done with sensitivity to the original house design.
